Pueblo Communities

The Pueblo area is considered to be a semi arid desert and is located 112 miles south of Denver and 43 miles south of Colorado Springs.  Pueblo is rich with history, from Fort Pueblo which was a major trading hub in the mid to late 1800’s, the Pueblo Flood of 1921 is the worst natural disaster in history to the area.  The hustle and bustle of the Union Avenue District in the early 1900s, brought many types of businesses that shipped by trains all over the country out of the Pueblo hub.  Pueblo got the name “Steel City” because of the steel mill located on the south side of Pueblo. It remains a big employer for the area.
Pueblo offers many different areas in which to live, each offers different conveniences, price ranges and home styles. I have included some of the subdivision/areas below to help you get the feel of what each has to offer.  You can search for homes available in each area by clicking on the search for homes link.  Besides the “northside, southside, etc.” these are specific subdivisions or areas listed in the MLS.
